This is a Yin Yoga practice for you to get grounded. If you need some time to slow down and reconnect, to move away from worries even just for 30 minutes or just reset to keep going with the day.
This video will guide you through a slow Yin class, all on your back so that you can keep grounding into the ground, into the Earth, and keep connected.
It is a practice for all levels and will bring you within, with lots of times of silence so that you can have your own experience.

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style, in which postures are generally held from 3 to 5 minutes per posture (although they can be held all the way up to 20 minutes). Allowing the body to feel some sensations (this is the difference with Restorative) but not so much so that you have to move or feel pain, so that you can relax the muscles and sink into the posture.
In this style we work on the deeper tissues, from the fascia and the connective tissues all the way down to the joints, allowing them to strengthen.
With the addition of self-myofascial release and self-massage techniques you can be sure to leave the class feeling more open, loose and less achy, but also relaxed and ready for bed.

Finally announcing my new yoga class at Bandana Health and Fitness.
I will be facilitating this class every Saturday; it will be a combination of flow, long-held yin postures and a long guided relaxation.
We will begin with a flow, to warm up and loosen up, continue with yin poses to get deeper down into the fascia, connective tissues and joins and help them maintain and build strength. We will finish with a long Savasana to keep our mind in a relaxed state and start the weekend on the best possible note.
Come take some time for yourself, to nurture your mind, body and soul.
